【产品介绍】CD21 is a single-pass type 2 transmembrane protein that serves as the complement recept o r f o r C3d a n d the Epstein-Barr virus. It is a member of a family of C3b/C4b binding proteins that regulate complement activation, comprise t a n d emly repeated 60-75 amino acid sequences, a n d whose genes map to b a n d q32 on chromosome 1 (1). CD21 interacts with the p53 anti-oncoprotein, the p68 calcium binding protein a n d the nuclear p120 ribonucleoprotein to regulate their functions. Phosph o r ylation of CD21 inhibits its interaction with the nuclear p120 ribonucleoprotein (2).
